Responsibilities
- Minimize product costs while ensuring constant supply.
- Evaluate alternative sources for electronic parts and establish localized components.
- Perform specification comparisons and design test plans.
- Set up test environments and execute evaluation tests.
- Coordinate engineering-related issues between design and production teams.
- Document evaluation outcomes and exercise technical judgement to propose solutions.
- Create and update technical drawings using computer software.
- Ensure tests and procedures meet industry standards.
- Support department head in achieving departmental goals within project timelines.
Requirements
- Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficient in reading electronic symbols and circuit schematics.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
- Experience in using test equipment, including oscilloscopes and stable power supplies.
- Knowledge of SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent software is beneficial.
