Electrical Engineer

Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role for an Electrical Engineer. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for supporting the design, development, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with technical standards. Key responsibilities include preparing technical documentation, analyzing electrical specifications, coordinating with internal teams on project requirements, and assisting with troubleshooting and system optimization activities. The role also involves monitoring electrical performance, conducting inspections, supporting installation and maintenance processes, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. The Electrical Engineer will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, assist in resolving technical issues, and support the successful execution of engineering and operational projects.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical engineering principles, electrical systems, and technical operations

• Familiarity with electrical design processes, equipment testing, and system maintenance procedures

• Strong understanding of electrical safety standards, technical specifications, and compliance requirements

• Ability to analyze technical data, troubleshoot electrical issues, and support system improvements

• Proficiency in preparing technical reports, engineering documentation, and project records

• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and coordination abilities

• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams, contractors, and cross-functional departments

• Familiarity with engineering software, technical tools, and Microsoft Office applications

• Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and operational efficiency improvement processes

• Ability to manage multiple technical tasks and support project timelines effectively

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field

• Professional engineering certifications or licenses are an advantage

• Strong reporting, documentation, and technical coordination skills
