Design and develop electrical systems for offshore cranes, winches, and heavy lifting equipment.
Prepare electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, GA drawings, cable schedules, and load calculations.
Perform component selection including motors, transformers, switchgear, VFDs, PLCs, and control panels.
Develop and review technical documentation in accordance with project specifications and classification requirements (ABS, DNV, BV, etc.).
Coordinate closely with mechanical, hydraulic, and automation teams to ensure seamless system integration.
Provide engineering support to production, installation, and yard operations in Singapore.
Support FAT, SAT, testing, troubleshooting, and on-site commissioning activities.
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to review technical submissions and ensure compliance.
Ensure all designs comply with IEC standards and local Singapore regulations where applicable.
Maintain adherence to HSE, quality, and project timeline requirements.
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
3-6 years of relevant experience in offshore, marine, heavy machinery, or industrial automation sectors.
Strong understanding of power distribution systems and control panel design.
Experience with PLC systems (Siemens preferred).
Proficient in EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, or equivalent design software.
Familiar with marine classification society requirements (ABS, DNV, LR).
Experience supporting workshop testing and commissioning activities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment with regional coordination.
Willing to travel offshore or overseas for short-term assignments when required.
