Job Description
We are seeking experienced and versatile Electrical Engineers to join our team. This role involves designing and testing automation systems for next-generation FEOL manufacturing equipment. You will collaborate closely with hardware, system, and software engineers to drive equipment design and system validation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and troubleshoot electrical systems, ensuring safe operation of pumps, high-voltage units, RF systems, grounding, and plasma generators.
- Select and integrate sensors and actuators for temperature, current, voltage, position, and gas flow control.
- Develop control interfaces, safety interlocks, and PLC I/O modules.
- Ensure compliance with electrical certifications and standards.
- Conduct simulations and analyses to validate power distribution and control panel designs.
- Implement real-time data acquisition and feedback systems.
- Source OEM components and materials for control panel and power distribution design.
- Create and manage engineering drawings, schematics, and BOMs using change management protocols.
- Define and optimize quality checks for electrical, sensing, and actuator components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and refine custom and OEM system components.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in electronic design and development.
- Hands-on experience with RF generators (400kHz / 13.56MHz) and related systems.
- Proficiency in electrical schematics and voltage circuit design for power and control.
- Strong understanding of electrical architecture, I/O controller design, and certification.
- Skilled in CAD tools such as PCAD, ORCAD, ZUKEN, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with industry standards: NEC, NFPA 79, UL 508A, IEC, SEMI (S2, S8, S22).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
