Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise maintenance tasks and reliability improvements of electrical equipment
- Implement reliability programs and develop maintenance procedures for electrical equipment to facilitate consistent execution of maintenance tasks.
- Develop and carry out minor CAPEX electrical projects following company guidelines.
- Investigate electrical equipment failures or malfunctions in order to identify root causes of problem as well as recommend and implement solutions.
- Liaise with external stakeholder including government agencies on electrical matters.
- Support Major expansion projects from the electrical and operations perspective.
- Work closely with Licensed Electrical Worker to provide integrity assurance for the electrical systems.
- The incumbent shall also participate in emergency response and may be assigned to a specific role and responsibility for such purpose.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from a recognized university.
- Minimum of 5 years practical experience in an electrical maintenance / design role in an oil and petrochemical facilities or power generation environment.
- Relevant technical experience in high voltage electrical power systems.
- Highly analytical and meticulous.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
