Responsibilities
- Manage all on-site electrical installation activities to ensure timely and quality delivery of building projects
- Coordinate effectively with consultants, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities to align project execution with requirements
- Verify that electrical works comply with approved drawings, technical specifications, and project timelines
- Conduct thorough site inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems to validate performance and safety
- Ensure all electrical installations adhere to Singapore regulations, codes of practice, and workplace safety standards
- Review and assess shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions to confirm technical accuracy and compliance
- Participate actively in site meetings, providing technical guidance and resolving issues to support project teams
- Prepare detailed progress reports and maintain accurate documentation to track project status and compliance
Required competencies and certifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board (Singapore)
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum [3-8] years of relevant experience in building construction projects in Singapore.
- Strong knowledge of local codes and regulations.
- Experience in handling authority submissions and inspections.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office (BIM knowledge is an advantage).
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
