Job Summary

Develop and manage electrical engineering projects by designing systems, ensuring compliance with standards, collaborating with stakeholders, and delivering quality solutions from concept to completion.

Responsibilities

Design electrical systems, schematics, and layouts using CAD software to meet requirements for building, industrial and infrastructure projects
Prepare technical specifications that comply with industry standards and regulations
Evaluate and select materials, equipment, and technologies to optimize system performance
Collaborate effectively with project managers, architects, and engineers to achieve project goals
Monitor and control project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure on-time delivery
Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and performance analysis to validate system functionality
Ensure electrical systems comply with safety, quality, local, and international codes
Perform root cause analysis on system failures and recommend corrective actions
Prepare comprehensive technical reports, manuals, and documentation for stakeholders
Maintain accurate records of designs, modifications, and test results for project traceability
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project risks
Ensure all electrical systems adhere to environmental and safety regulations

Required competencies and certifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 2 years of hands-on electrical design experience
Knowledge of local electrical codes and authority submission procedures
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing as a team player
