Position Summary:
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for preparing optimized and compliant electrical and documentation for building services and infrastructure projects. The role supports both design consultancy and Design & Build models, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare electrical design drawings such as Single Line Diagrams (SLD), general layouts, lighting schemes, and cable routing.
- Perform detailed design calculations including voltage drop, short circuit current, and equipment sizing.
- Develop Bills of Quantities (BQ), technical specifications, and material submissions.
- Coordinate with mechanical, architectural, and structural teams to integrate M&E systems effectively.
- Assist in Design & Build projects, ensuring technical compliance and optimization.
- Support project meetings by presenting designs and responding to design-related queries.
- Review and update drawings/documents as per QA/QC procedures and client feedback.
- Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning phases.
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 2-6 years of experience in electrical building services design
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and electrical calculation tools (e.g., ETAP, Dialux).
- Strong understanding of relevant codes and standards (e.g., IEC, SS, IEEE).
- Good attention to detail, communication, and coordination skills.
