Electrical Design Engineer (4-5yrs exp/Power Systems/FC & Generator/Immediately/Short Notice)

Responsibilities:

• Carry out the design of power and electrical systems, covering HT supply, generators and frequency converters.
• Design the migration, integration and modification of existing power systems onto new equipment.
• Draw up and check electrical drawings and technical specifications with electrical CAD tools.
• Check that all designs meet the required codes, standards and client requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants and contractors on design changes and technical queries.
• Provide design support on site during installation, testing and commissioning.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 4 - 5 years of relevant electrical system design experience in the civil construction industry (e.g. substations, HT power systems, marine or government infrastructure projects).
• Experience in system migration & integration for FC / generators.
• Must have experience in Electrical CAD Tools.
• Able to start work immediately / within a short notice is advantageous.
