Job Title: Electrical and Instrument Inspector

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Electrical Inspector to ensure compliance with Singapore electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations. The ideal candidate will conduct inspections of electrical installations in the power-plant building stage, ensuring the electrical works performed meet contractual and legislation requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

² Inspect electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and installations to ensure compliance with safety regulations and electrical codes.

² Perform daily E&I inspections as per ITPs, ensure E&I installation works are conducted as per project technical specifications, Singapore local standards, and regulations.

² Review inspection reports, detailing findings and necessary corrective actions.

² Work closely with subcontractors and owners to ensure compliance.

² Perform follow-up inspections to confirm corrective actions have been completed.

² Investigate electrical complaints, accidents, and hazardous conditions.

² Maintain accurate inspection records and prepare reports as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

² Advance Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.

² Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical inspection and electrical installation.

² Thorough knowledge of Singapore's local electrical codes.

² Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety regulations.

² Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.

² Strong communication and customer service skills.

² Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.

² Proficiency in using inspection tools, electrical testing devices, and software.

Preferred Qualifications (Not a must):

² Prior experience working on SP Group projects or Powerplant construction inspections in Singapore.

² ATEX or IECEx cert qualification.

² EMA Regulatory-Transmission Code

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

² Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments, including construction sites.

² May require working overtime
