Working location: Gul Circle, Singapore

Shuttle service is provided from several MRT Station

Working hours: 8 am to 5.15pm (Monday to Friday)

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and follow-up on actions from various functions and departments in EHS improvement activities, rectifications works and accident/incident investigations, contractor Permit-To-Work systems
  • Perform EHS inspections of the company operations to ensure compliance, and improvement of EHS improvements
  • Identify and implement periodic EHS performance monitoring and measurements of the company's EHS performance through proactive and reactive monitoring e.g. noise mapping, trade effluent, industrial hygiene and air emission monitoring.
  • Lead and implement EHS improvement activities arising from Corporate EHS and site leadership directions
  • Drive a strong EHS culture across the organization by developing and executing awareness campaigns, training programs, and engagement initiatives
  • Maintain EHS documentations required under the EHS management system e.g. Risk assessment, accident/incident records, chemical inventories, licenses and permits, SDS, etc
  • Ensure that systems and procedures within the department are in compliance with Workplace Safety & Health Act, ISO14001 EMS, ISO45001 OH&SMS and ISO 22301 BCMS

Qualification:

  • Diploma/Degree in Engineering, preferably in an environmental, health sciences, industrial hygiene and chemical regulatory discipline.

Experiences:

  • Registered Workplace, Safety and Health Officer - 2 to 5 years (WSHO with MOM)
  • Knowledge of chemical substance regulations and EHS laws - 2 years
  • Working experience in manufacturing (e.g. Cleanroom environment would be an advantage)
  • Certified Fire Safety Manager
  • Internal Auditing
  • Noise Control Officer / Noise Monitoring Officer
  • Business Continuity Planning
