About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager to lead their workplace safety and environmental management programmes across construction projects in Singapore. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong technical knowledge of WSH regulations, excellent communication skills, and a passion for building a safe and sustainable work culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all EHS activities to ensure compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act, WSH (Construction) Regulations, and other Singapore statutory requirements.
• Develop and implement risk assessments, safe work procedures, and site-specific safety plans.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and accident investigations; implement corrective actions.
• Deliver safety training, toolbox meetings, and safety campaigns for employees and subcontractors.
• Manage waste, noise, and environmental impact in compliance with NEA and BCA standards.
• Lead emergency preparedness programmes and coordinate emergency response plans.
• Prepare and submit required EHS reports to regulatory agencies (MOM, NEA, SCDF).

Requirements

• Registered WSH Officer with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) mandatory.
• Degree or Diploma in Workplace Safety & Health, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years EHS experience in the Singapore construction industry.
• ECO (Environmental Control Officer)certification advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of local safety and environmental legislation.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
