Job Scope
Conducting regular site inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential health, safety and environmental risks
Developing and implementing safety policies, procedures and training programs to enhance employee awareness and compliance
Investigating incidents and accidents, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence
Liaising with regulatory bodies and ensuring all necessary permits and licenses are up-to-date
Providing guidance and support to plant operations teams on EHS-related matters
Maintaining comprehensive records and documentation to demonstrate compliance with relevant regulations
Continuously reviewing and improving EHS management systems to drive continuous improvement
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience in an EHS role, preferably within the process manufacturing industry
Understanding of process safety, specifically including knowledge of QRA, HAZOP, and LOPA is highly advantage
Registered WSHO is a plus
Strong knowledge of relevant EHS regulations and best practices
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and mitigate risks
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Proficiency in project management and data analysis
Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and change management
