Job Description

European Energy Exchange (EEX) is a leading commodities exchange headquartered in Germany with offices in over 25 locations globally, including Singapore. We are a part of the Deutsche Börse Group

This key role requires an individual of excellent calibre and with interest in energy and commodity markets, who will contribute to EEX Group's continued growth in Asia.

We are looking to hire an entry-level market operations analyst and will only consider applicants who are able to start work immediately.

Your tasks:

§ Monitoring market activities and trades

§ Producing regular reports related to market activity

§ Maintaining the trading system's static data

§ Performing client account opening and KYC procedures

§ Investigating trade discrepancies and performing trade amendments and cancellations

§ Assisting market participants with queries and providing customer support

§ Managing projects and process improvements

Your profile:

§ Willing to work flexible hours and shifts is a must

§ High level of motivation with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high quality work under pressure

§ Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients

§ Ability to think out of the box and approach tasks with a holistic approach

§ Strong IT literary, preferably with some familiarity with electronic trading venues and common office software packages including Microsoft Excel
