To raise the teaching standards of the learning centres under PERTAPIS.
To support the development, implementation, and improvement of curriculum programmes integrating moral education, including designing lesson plans, ensuring alignment with standards, monitoring effectiveness, and supporting educators in delivery.
To conduct lessons as required by the centres.
To ensure the smooth running of the centres by working closely with the teaching and administrative staff.
To review and standardise the syllabus of the centres and ensure that it is in line with the requirements of IECP, that the standard allows for students to continue pursuing Islamic studies beyond secondary level and apply what they have learnt, and the depth is manageable for our students who are learning part time at all centres.
To review teaching materials and assess their suitability and make recommendation on teaching tools that will make learning more effective.
To vet exam papers and ensure that they are accurate and appropriate.
To create and maintain standardised templates for result slips and marking scheme.
To observe lessons conducted by teachers, make assessments and recommendation for the co-learning of best practices and continuous improvement.
To assist in the recruitment and selection of new teachers, ensuring sufficient teacher availability for weekly classes and sourcing relief teachers when necessary.
To work closely with the Management and Administrative Supervisor on the operational and administrative matters of the centres.
To liaise between the centres and Head Office in matters that require Management approval and to provide regular updates.
To be creative and make recommendations to improve enrolment and centre operations.
To support PERTAPIS events such as fundraising and community projects.
To carry out any other relevant tasks as assigned by the Management and Head Office.
Job Requirements
Diploma / Degree in Islamic Studies
Asatizah Recognition Scheme (ARS) Certified
Multilingual in Malay and English
Microsoft office proficiency
Excellent communication and interpersonal skill

Positive self-motivated and able to commit to flexible working hours
Able to work weekends and willing to travel across centres
