The Centre for Career Readiness and Graduate Studies Department is seeking an Education Associate to support the design, execution, and reporting of initiatives aimed at enhancing the career readiness of early career researchers at Duke-NUS Medical School.
This role requires an individual who can design and evaluate education initiatives, manage data across projects, and develop marketing strategies. The candidate should have a growth mindset and a passion for process improvement in higher education.
Job Description
- Deliver and facilitate workshops focused on professional development needs of early career researchers.
- Assist in the design, development, and review of learning materials and digital resources to support programme outcomes.
- Support administrative arrangements for programmes, including scheduling and communications.
- Conduct market research to identify potential industry partners, guest speakers, and collaborators relevant to researcher development.
- Contribute to the creation and dissemination of digital and print materials (e.g., flyers, newsletters, social media posts).
- Maintain accurate records and assist with data collection and reporting on programme participation and outcomes.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support the department's educational initiatives.
Qualifications
- Master of Science in relevant disciplines with at least 1 to 2 years of experience will be considered.
- Bachelor's Degree with at least 4 to 6 years of relevant knowledge, skills and expertise may also be considered.
- Demonstrated ability in facilitation or instructional delivery in higher education or professional training.
- Able to be solution oriented while managing multiple deadlines.
- Competent in digital communication tools (e.g., Canva, email platforms, social media).
- Able to explore automation of processes using technology
