Job Description
About QpiAI
QpiAI is an advanced deep-tech company delivering full-stack Quantum Computing and AI platforms (hardware, software, and QCaaS). As we expand our global footprint across key technology hubs, our Singapore office serves as the strategic anchor for Asia-Pacific. We are building a dynamic, high-agility team to foster regional developer communities, forge academic partnerships, and drive ground-level deep-tech adoption.
Position Overview
Reporting directly to the Head of Singapore & Director of Business Development, the Ecosystem & Community Manager will be the heartbeat of QpiAI's community presence and campus outreach in Singapore and across APAC.
This is a dynamic, 0-to-1 community-building role for a proactive operator who thrives on turning big ideas into active programs. You will own our developer and university outreach end-to-end—driving hackathons, technical talks, university talent pipelines, and industry events—while ensuring our day-to-day Singapore hub operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
1. Community & Developer Relations
- Build and nurture an active regional community of developers, researchers, students, and deep-tech enthusiasts around QpiAI's software platforms and Quantum Computing as a Service (QCaaS).
- Organize and host technical meetups, developer workshops, guest lectures, and hackathons in partnership with top regional universities and tech hubs.
- Act as the primary operational connector for developer feedback, user engagement, and platform onboarding across the region.
2. Flagship Events & Industry Engagement
- Plan, coordinate, and execute QpiAI's presence at premier regional tech conferences and expos (e.g., SWITCH, ATxSG, GITEX, regional quantum symposia).
- Coordinate logistics, booth presence, speaking engagements, and side-events to maximize QpiAI's brand visibility among industry leaders and public sector stakeholders.
3. University & Talent Partnerships
- Cultivate direct relationships with student societies, research labs, and career centers across Singapore (NUS, NTU, SUTD, SMU) and key regional universities.
- Drive student engagement programs, university roadshows, and talent acquisition campaigns to build a robust talent pipeline for QpiAI.
4. Hub Enabler & Growth Support
- Support the day-to-day activation of QpiAI's Singapore office, serving as the local point of contact for visitors, university partners, and event collaborators.
- Assist regional leadership with team onboarding logistics, vendor coordination, and general administrative flow to keep the Singapore hub moving fast.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 2–4 years of experience in community management, developer relations, event execution, or ecosystem programs within a tech accelerator, innovation agency, university incubator, or early-stage startup.
- Event & Program Mastery: Proven track record of running end-to-end events—from small developer meetups and university talks to major conference activations and hackathons.
- Network & Energy: Strong familiarity with Singapore's startup ecosystem, university networks, and tech communities; highly outgoing, articulate, and naturally collaborative.
- Startup Mindset: Relentlessly resourceful, highly organized, and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced, evolving office environment.
- Tech Curiosity: Eager to learn about Quantum Computing and AI, with the ability to translate complex technology concepts into engaging community programs (a formal technical background is welcome, but passion for deep tech and community-first execution is key).
