Shopee's Regional Supply Chain team oversees the overall strategy and operations of our network of transportation facilities and warehouses across our markets. What You'll Do
- Shape the Future of Logistics: Develop strategy for our logistics and warehousing network, addressing both short- and long-term needs with a sharp focus on balancing cost efficiency and exceptional customer experience.
- Drive Expansion with Impact: Execute large-scale expansion planscovering business case evaluation, facility sourcing and negotiations, manpower planning, and hiring top talents to fuel growth.
- Unlock Operational Excellence: Analyse current fulfillment and transportation operations across markets to uncover inefficiencies, spot opportunities, and design innovative solutions for optimisation.
- Boost Efficiency at Scale: Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiencyoptimising processes, warehouse layouts, inventory allocation, forecasting, and transportation routing.
- Lead Continuous Improvement: Spearhead projects aimed at transforming operationsreducing costs, streamlining workflows, and elevating efficiency, all while keeping user experience at the core.
- Harness Data Power: Utilise data analytics to create and track KPIs, run deep-dive analyses, and translate insights into impactful actions.
- Be a Hands-On Partner: Work closely with local teams, rolling up your sleeves to implement pragmatic, on-the-ground improvement initiatives that deliver real results.
- Innovate with Tech: Collaborate with technology teams to build cutting-edge capabilities, from developing features to designing algorithms that optimise operations end-to-end
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience in management consulting, supply chain, internet, fast-moving consumer industries or any relevant work experience
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data-driven decision-making
- Experience leading and executing projects focused on process optimisation, efficiency gains, and cost reduction etc.
- Proactive and results-oriented with a strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Adaptable and flexible to thrive in an entrepreneurial and dynamic environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams to overcome implementation challenges
- Willingness to travel to Southeast Asian markets to implement initiatives with local teams
