EC/i4.0 Engineer

Job Description

• Manage change requests and execute change control processes, including Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).

• Create, maintain, and communicate accurate change management data using various management information systems (PLM, PDM, MRP/ERP systems like SAP)

• Conduct thorough analysis of proposed changes to determine their effect on cost, schedule, inventory levels, product performance, and organizational impact.

• Interface with various engineering and non-engineering functions to coordinate the release and implementation of changes, ensuring all stakeholders are aware and aligned. Analyze part structures and break down BOMs to ensure complete and accurate fabrication and assembly of parts following changes.

• Work with stakeholders and see through the successful applications and implementation of IoT systems.

• Responsible for digital transformation in IoT based data acquisition, data analytics and data storage with visualization on current platform setup.

• Introduce new & upcoming technological trends in IoT, machine learning and use of sensors for impacting current business practices and select solutions through research partners and strategic suppliers.

Job Requirements

• Good experience in engineering change management

• Good experience in i40/ Industrial IoT use in business processes.

• Hands on experience with data acquisition, database selection, data analytics and setup.

• Good understanding of machine learning, data analytics and visualization.

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Mfg Engineering
