E&I Project Engineer located in
Jurong Island, Singapore through

The Project Engineer manages multiple electrical and instrumentation projects, typically less than USD2MM. These MOC projects involve the design, installation, and review of systems such as transformers, switchgears, MCCs, VSDs, motors, analyzers, and instrumentation.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Project Management
- Lead engineering design and plant modification reviews.
- Apply CPMS/MFO and VIPs for structured project execution.
- Prepare cost estimates, tender documents, and evaluate contractor bids.
- Monitor contractor progress to ensure safety, budget, and schedule compliance.
- Conduct punch listing and PSSR for project completion.
- Support commissioning and handover to Operations.
- Coordinate with consultants and regulatory bodies for inspections.
- Maintain project documentation and update standard specifications.
Operational Excellence
- Select contractors based on safety, health, and environmental standards.
- Evaluate contractor safety performance and conduct field audits.
- Lead and participate in incident investigations.
Cost & Capital Stewardship
- Manage capital budgets and control MOC expenditures.
- Track and analyze monthly project expenses.
- Forecast capital spending and optimize contracting strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience in managing projects in petrochemical industries
- Strong teamwork and initiative in cross-functional collaboration
- Effective communication and a drive for continuous improvement
