Responsibilities
Artwork Production & Layout
- Prepare, adapt, and finalise artwork for large-format prints, signage, environmental graphics, wayfinding, and experiential installations.
- Convert designs into print-ready files, ensuring accuracy in scale, crop marks, bleed, and specifications.
- Create dielines, structural layouts, and technical breakdowns for production.
Technical Checks & Pre-Press
- Conduct thorough pre-press checks: colour mode, resolution, font outlines, overprints, and material suitability.
- Optimise files based on substrate, printing techniques, and fabrication methods.
- Troubleshoot artwork issues and propose solutions to designers and production teams.
Collaboration & Support
- Work closely with 3D designers, graphic designers, draftsmen, and project managers to ensure artwork aligns with design intent and technical feasibility.
- Assist the Production team with accurate file exports, scaling, and templating.
- Support the Creative team with artwork resizing, adaptation, and layout refinement when needed.
Quality Assurance
- Uphold high visual and technical standards across all deliverables.
- Ensure all artwork is clean, organised, labelled, and version-controlled for smooth handover.
Requirements
Technical Skills
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud Softwares (Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat
- Strong understanding of large-format printing, substrates (vinyl, fabric, acrylic, PVC, etc.), and cutting/finishing methods.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and apply accurate scaling and measurements.
- Strong eye for colours and ability to assess physical colour samples for print consistency.
Experience
- 2-5 years of experience in DTP, pre-press, or production art, preferably in spatial, exhibition, events, or retail environments.
- Experience preparing artwork for carpentry, signage, fabrication, and other build processes is a strong plus.
