Job Description

  • Safely operate a bus along a designated route and schedule.
  • Ensure the safety of all passengers during transit.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly bus.
  • Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking as needed, especially those with disabilities.
  • Monitor traffic and road conditions to ensure a smooth ride.
  • Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and passengers.
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
  • Report any accidents, incidents, or vehicle malfunctions immediately.
  • Collect fares and issue tickets as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily driving activities, including mileage, fuel consumption, and passenger counts.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing passenger inquiries and concerns in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Attend training sessions and meetings as needed.
