Job Title: Lorry Driver
Job Description:
We are looking for a responsible and reliable Lorry Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be in charge of transporting goods safely and efficiently to various destinations while ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the vehicle in good working condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a lorry to transport goods and materials.
- Load and unload items as required.
- Ensure timely deliveries according to schedule.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Inspect and maintain the lorry to ensure it is roadworthy at all times.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.
- Report any issues, accidents, or delays to the supervisor immediately.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 3/4/5 (depending on vehicle type) driving license.
- Proven driving experience as a lorry driver or in a similar role.
- Good knowledge of traffic laws and routes.
- Physically fit and able to handle loading/unloading tasks.
- Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and reliability.
