The Driver cum Assistant - Logistics Services is responsible for transporting goods, Documents and Personnel While also assisting with basic logistics, loading /unloading, inventory handling and general support tasks. the role requires reliability, basic record keeping skills, and the ability to assist the logistics team as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety Operate company vehicles for delivery and pickup of goods, documents and materials
- Follow Assigned routes, schedules and delivery instructions
- Ensure compliance with traffic rules and company driving policies
- Maintain Vehicle cleanliness and basic upkeep
Logistics and Assistance
- Assist in Loading & Unloading goods/Materials
- Help with Inventory movement and basic stock checks
- Support warehouse or logistics staff with packing, sorting and organizing items
- Assist in Delivery Documents (Delivery Notes, Receipts and Signature)
Vehicle & Safety Responsibilities
- Conduct Routine Vehicle Checks (Fuel, oil, Tires, Brakes, lights)
- Report Mechanical issue or maintenance needs promptly
- Ensure Safe handling of goods to prevent damage or loss
Administrative & Support Task
- Maintain Delivery logs and trip records
- Assist with officer or logistics related errands as required
- Support supervisor or logistics coordinators with daily operational tasks
Job Requirements
- Valid Driving License - Minimum Class 3
- Prior Experience in driving and logistics / delivery is preferred
- Good to knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations
- Physically fit and able to handle manual - works
- Basic Reading, Writing and Record keeping skills
- Time Management and punctuality
- Willingness to perform multi - Tasking duties
- May Involve long driving hours and overtime
- Driving Experience Minimum 2 yrs
