Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable Driver to handle the delivery of fresh fruits and vegetables to customers and outlets. The role requires timely deliveries, proper handling of perishable goods, and maintaining product freshness and quality throughout transportation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver fruits and vegetables to customers, retail outlets, or central kitchens
- Ensure proper handling to prevent damage or spoilage of goods
- Load and unload items safely and efficiently
- Plan delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the vehicle (especially cargo area)
- Check and verify orders before delivery
- Ensure goods are delivered in fresh and good condition
- Perform basic vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Valid driving license (Class 3 or relevant)
- Clean driving record
- Physically fit to handle loading and unloading of goods
- Responsible, punctual, and reliable
- Basic knowledge of local routes and delivery areas
- Experience in delivery or handling fresh produce is an advantage
Working Conditions:
- Early morning or night shifts may be required
- Fast-paced environment with multiple delivery points
- Handling of perishable goods requiring careful and timely delivery
