We are one of the largest one-stop Underground Utilities Infrastructure companies based in Singapore. We provide Underground Utilities Infrastructure construction and maintenance, sewer pipeline rehabilitation, road and airfield construction and maintenance as well as asphalt pre-mix production and construction waste recycling.
RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Draftsman to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing, updating, and managing technical drawings according to project requirements and specifications. The ideal candidate should have strong drafting skills, good coordination abilities, and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and update technical drawings in compliance with project specifications, company standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Handle assigned drafting works, including but not limited to cable, gas, utility, civil, and mechanical drawings.
- Coordinate with engineers, Project Coordinators, Project Management Office team, and other stakeholders to ensure priorities are met and urgent requests are addressed promptly.
- Ensure all drawings are accurately prepared, reviewed, and submitted within project timelines.
- Maintain and update project tracking or monitoring lists, documenting progress, revisions, and approvals.
- Revise drawings based on feedback, comments, and approvals from engineers, clients, or regulatory authorities.
- Assist in site inspections or surveys when necessary to verify existing conditions for accurate drafting.
- Support multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines, quality standards, and specifications are consistently met.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of drafting processes, standards, and best practices.
- Perform other duties or tasks as assigned by the immediate superior or Head of Department.
QUALIFICATIONS- Recognised Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any Engineering discipline (e.g., Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical) from a recognised institution.
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years relevant experience in drafting and/or engineering projects.
- Good understanding of engineering drawing standards, project specifications, and utility coordination.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other drafting tools.
- Possession of a valid Class 2 or Class 3 driving licence is an advantage for site visits.
