Drafter

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare technical drawings based on designs provided by architects, engineers, or project managers.
• Create layouts, blueprints, and detailed drawings for construction.
• Work closely with engineers or architects to understand specifications and make necessary adjustments.
• Revise designs and drawings based on feedback or changes in project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company guidelines in all drawings.
• Collaborate with other team members to develop design ideas and provide support in construction projects.
• Prepare as-built drawings after project completion to reflect any modifications made during the construction phase.
• Maintain an organized system of files and records of all designs and drawings.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other CAD software.
• Strong understanding of construction design principles.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, blueprints, and drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and project teams.
• Associate's degree in Architecture, CAD technology, or a related field (or relevant certification).
• Experience in drafting for construction or engineering projects is a plus.
