Drafter
(Building Construction/Project)
Responsibilities :
- Liaise with builders and contractors to create and update plans, drawings for building projects.
- Work closely with architects, engineers and construction teams to integrate design elements and ensure coordination across disciplines.
- Responsible for creating detailed and technical drawings based on sketches and instructions provided by the site/design team
- Develop comprehensive construction drawings, adhering to local building codes and regulations.
- Gather product and structural requirements, calculating dimensions and material specifications, and creating detailed designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Prepare preliminary sketches, working drawings and detailed specifications.
- Monitor the construction process to ensure works aligns with the approved drawings and specifications.
- Any other works as assigned by the Management or your Superior.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's Degree of Architecture/Drafting/Engineering Design or other related disciplines
- A firm foundation in drawing creation - BIM, Revit, Navisworks, Sketch-up, AutoCad software / computer-aided design (CAD) and general computer skills.
- Previous work experiences in a specific industry, such as architectural, mechanical, or structural design, will require to be considered for the position.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in building/construction trade in Singapore will be added advantage.
