Drafter / BIM Modeller (BMS)

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Drafter / BIM Modeller (BMS) to support project delivery through accurate drafting and BIM coordination. The role involves producing shop drawings, ensuring compliance with project requirements, and collaborating closely with engineering and project teams across all stages from tender to construction.

Responsibilities

• Develop and produce detailed shop drawings in accordance with project requirements and timelines

• Work closely with site teams to incorporate updates and revisions into drawings as projects progress

• Oversee BIM coordination activities across all project phases, from tender through to construction

• Support the implementation of BIM execution strategies, ensuring deliverables are met effectively

• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination of design information

• Manage and ensure consistency of project data flow across teams and systems

• Review models for accuracy, completeness, and required level of detail in line with project standards

• Attend coordination meetings and contribute to design reviews and project discussion

Mandatory Skill-set

• Proficient in AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit

• Minimum 2 years of drafting experience

• Knowledge and experience in ACMV / HVAC systems

• Ability to handle BIM modelling and coordination tasks

• Able to commence work immediately or within short notice

Desired Skill-set

• Experience in BMS (Building Management Systems) projects

• Strong coordination and communication skills

• Detail-oriented with good quality control practices

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
