Key Responsibilities
1. Daily Operations
- Oversee day-to-day dormitory operations
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and housekeeping
- Carry out regular inspections of rooms and shared facilities
2. Resident Management
- Manage check-in and check-out of workers
- Keep accurate and up-to-date resident records (e.g., names, employers, room assignments)
- Enforce dormitory rules and regulations
- Address and handle residents feedback and complaints
3. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with regulations under the Foreign Employee Dormitories Act
- Monitor fire safety, emergency procedures, and incident reporting
- Coordinate with relevant authorities during inspections when necessary
4. Maintenance Coordination
- Identify, report, and follow up on maintenance and repairissues
- Liaise with contractors and vendors to ensure proper facility upkeep
5. Security & Discipline
- Monitor access control and manage visitor entry
- Handle resident misconduct, disputes, or disturbances
- Ensure compliance with curfews and dormitory policies
6. Administration
- Prepare and maintain reports (e.g., occupancy, incidents, maintenance records)
- Ensure proper documentation for audits and inspections
- Coordinate with employers on matters related to worker accommodation
