Job Summary
Operate tower cranes with luffing jib or saddle jib in a shipyard environment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and site rules while performing tasks independently.
Responsibilities
- Operate tower cranes with luffing jib or saddle jib to move materials safely and efficiently within the shipyard
- Climb up and down tower crane ladders to access and control crane operations as required
- Follow strict site rules, regulations, and safety requirements to maintain a safe working environment
- Work independently to complete assigned crane operations and support shipyard activities
- Maintain awareness of surroundings to prevent accidents and ensure smooth workflow during crane operation
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience operating cranes in a shipyard environment
Other Information
- Work schedule: 5.5 day work week with off day on weekdays
