DLP Technical Specialist / DLP Business Analyst

Role Overview

We are looking for experienced DLP professionals to support data protection initiatives within the banking sector. The ideal candidate should have experience with Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention (DLP), requirements gathering, policy design, testing, implementation, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and document business and technical requirements for DLP initiatives.
• Conduct gap analysis to identify data protection and information security risks.
• Design, configure, test, and implement Microsoft Purview DLP policies.
• Support DLP policy testing, validation, deployment, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate with business, IT, cybersecurity, risk, and compliance teams across multiple countries.
• Manage stakeholder expectations, project documentation, status reporting, and implementation milestones.
• Independently drive assigned initiatives from requirements gathering through implementation and delivery.

Mandatory Skills

• 3–8 years of experience in Business Analysis, Information Security, Data Protection, Technology Risk, or related areas.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview DLP, including policy design, testing, and implementation.
• Strong understanding of requirements gathering, gap analysis, testing, and project delivery.
• Excellent communication, documentation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and drive project outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• Banking or Financial Services (BFSI) experience.
• Exposure to data protection, cybersecurity, information security, risk, or compliance projects.
• Experience managing cross-country stakeholders and enterprise implementations.

Ideal Candidate Profile

A hands-on professional who combines DLP knowledge with strong analytical and stakeholder management skills. The candidate should be capable of driving implementations independently rather than functioning solely as a project coordinator.
