Job Description

About the role

As a Distribution Planner, you will report to the Supply Chain Manager and support inventory allocation across the SEAO region. You will be the key contact point for retail stores on stock and order management, working closely with the merchandising, logistics teams, and Paris headquarters.

This role is ideal for a motivated individual who can provide strong planning and operational support. The position requires a results-driven self-starter with a strong work ethic and good communication skills.

Key requirements

Stock Management

  • Monitor stock availability and manage scarcity levels to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Track fulfilment rates for target stock, manual orders, and setup stock to ensure timely delivery.
  • Act as the key contact for Retail Boutiques on stock availability, working closely with local merchandising and Paris teams to achieve the best solutions for customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate stock transfers within the region to maintain balanced inventory levels across boutiques.
  • Support store openings and pop-ups by defining target stock and coordinating deliveries in collaboration with Merchandising, Logistics, and the Paris team.
  • Manage stock returns in alignment with requests from the Paris team and local merchandising.
  • Ensure system stock records accurately reflect physical stock movements.

Continuous Improvement

  • Collaborate with local and central teams in a strategic and commercial manner to support business objectives.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of distribution tools to better support regional requirements.
  • Develop dashboards to improve visibility of inventory levels and stock movements.
  • Partner with the Logistics team to identify process improvement opportunities and enhance the efficiency of the order fulfilment process.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in supply chain, distribution planning, inventory management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential; experience with data analysis and reporting tools will be an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and support decision-making.
  • Proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
