Responsibilities:
- Analyse and understand Customer/EPC requirements for process control and automation applications.
- Perform basic and detailed engineering for DCS/PLC-based control systems, including: Control loop and sequence design, Integration with third-party systems, HMI configuration and alarm management
- Implement and test control logic on Yokogawa DCS platforms (CENTUM VP, ProSafe-RS, etc.).
- Prepare and review engineering documents such as control narratives, logic diagrams, cause & effect matrices, and FDS.
- Lead the development and execution of FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) with customers and affiliates.
- Provide on-site support for system installation, startup, and commissioning activities globally.
- Coordinate with EPCs, Affiliates, and Customers to ensure successful application delivery.
- Collaborate with the Project/Engineering Manager for complete ownership of the application engineering scope.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical, or Control Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in using Yokogawa control systems engineering for DCS industrial process control applications.
- Strong understanding of control loops, sequence development, interlocks, and alarm management.
- Technicial Knowledge of Fieldbus/Profibus, OPC communications, SFC (Sequential Function Charts), Industrial Networking,etc.
- Proven ability to lead a team and drive control system implementation across all phases.
- Experience in customer interfacing, technical discussions, and coordination with EPCs.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally for project execution, customer support, and site commissioning.
- Exposure to Yokogawa CENTUM VP, ProSafe-RS, Exaquantum, FAST/TOOLS will be preferred
