We are currently looking for a Director- Test Strategy with one of our large consulting clients to support large-scale core banking transformation programs.
Role Snapshot:
- Act as a strategic advisor to C-suite and technology leaders on QA and risk management
- Define and drive end-to-end Testing Strategy across SIT, UAT, Performance, and Data Migration
- Lead quality governance, KPIs, and risk-based testing for mission-critical banking workflows
- Oversee migration from legacy systems to modern/cloud platforms (including coexistence models)
- Drive automation adoption, CI/CD integration, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure regulatory and audit compliance (AML, KYC, Basel III environments)
- Collaborate across Product, DevOps, and Business teams to embed testing throughout the SDLC
- Provide executive reporting on quality metrics, release readiness, and risk posture
Ideal Profile:
- 7+ years in Testing/QA with at least 3 years in leadership roles
- Strong experience in core banking transformation / modernization
- Expertise in test strategy, automation frameworks, and large-scale data migration testing
- Familiar with Agile/DevOps, APIs/microservices testing, and high-volume transaction systems
- Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving capability
- Base location: Singapore, with 3 -4 days operating from Thailand client's premises
- Monitor and review the Test cases written by others and rectify if required
