Director, Technology Strategy & Transformation (Insurance)

We are supporting a leading insurance organisation in the search for a Director of Technology Strategy & Transformation to translate enterprise technology strategy into clear, executable outcomes.

This role is responsible for operationalising technology strategy across the insurance value chain, overseeing strategic initiatives, portfolio prioritisation, and resource allocation, while ensuring strong alignment between technology, business, and regulatory objectives. The Director will lead the Technology PMO, establish and track KPIs, and continuously evolve the technology operating model to improve efficiency, scalability, and agility.

Critically, this role requires a strong strategic storyteller someone who can articulate future-ready technology narratives that are board- and investor-ready, clearly linking technology investments to growth, customer experience, risk management, and long-term competitiveness. The role will also help the organisation leapfrog into emerging technologies and challenge traditional ways of working within insurance.
