Minimum qualifications:
- 15 years of experience in a leadership role, managing a team of senior technical experts.
- Experience in the GenAI stack.
- Experience working with AI to support technical relationships with customers, including delivering product briefings, creating demos, and managing proof-of-concept projects.
Preferred qualifications:
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, integration strategies, and the application infrastructure needed to implement complete solutions on Google Cloud.
- Demonstrated ability to work with and identify business opportunities, understand customer technical requirements, and develop strategies to resolve technical challenges.

The AI Blackbelt team serves as a crucial link between our Engineering and Go-to-Market (GTM)/Field teams. As the Director for APAC, you will lead a team of technical experts who act as GenAI CTOs for our most strategic cloud customers. Your primary objectives will be to advance the technical footprint of the Vertex platform, accelerate its adoption, and drive the migration of more workloads to Vertex.

Responsibilities
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of AI Blackbelts across the APAC region, fostering a culture of technical excellence and customer obsession.
- Work with your team to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand key customer technical objections, and develop strategies to resolve technical blockers. Provide AI expertise to support the technical relationships with Google's customers.
- Partner directly with product management to prioritize solutions that have a significant impact on customer adoption of Google Cloud in the APAC region.
- Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to implement complete and scalable solutions using Google Cloud.
- Support developers, creators, and enterprises in leveraging Google's Generative Language APIs to build their own innovative AI products. Travel to customer sites, conferences as needed.
