Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and own global sourcing strategy ensuring cost competitiveness, supply continuity, risk mitigation, and contract management across assigned accounts and categories, including but not limited to Front-End and Back-End tool spare parts & consumables, Facilities, and indirect Opex categories. Drive total cost of ownership (TCO), working capital optimization, and cost savings initiatives.
  • Establish and execute supplier strategies including OEM engagement, supplier segmentation, multi-sourcing, long-term agreements, and strategic supplier relationship management, including executive QBRs and performance governance.
  • Provide oversight and direction to the employees in the operating unit in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.
  • Oversee parts planners to ensure effective parts & consumables inventory, capacity alignment, stocking strategies and obsolescence risk. Lead mitigation plans for supply risk, long lead-time items and tool uptime impact.
  • Establish and manage global warehouse management strategy, including in-house & outsourced models; govern 3PL & outsourcing partners including SLA, cost control & service performance ensuring inventory accuracy, materials/parts flow and operational resilience.
  • Establish & enforce Global Fab Sourcing governance, policies, SOP & KPI dashboards. Own audit and sustainability compliance & internal controls, ensure adherence to Sourcing, Finance & Regulatory requirements across all regions.
  • Oversee end-to-end back-office procurement, ensuring timely execution, compliance & minimal manual intervention. Lead and manage outsourced back-office partners, ensuring service quality, compliance, and scalability with minimal manual intervention.
  • Communicate and coordinate with business units and senior management including insightful analytics to support improved cost reduction and business decisions.
  • Actively participate to drive a strategic procurement culture across Skyworks
  • Work with business leaders to develop a comprehensive approach to sourcing and spend management.
  • Develop, negotiate, and manage contracts and procurement activities reflecting the results of sourcing initiatives.
  • Identify root causes when performance issues emerge and drive to efficient resolution by working across both internal and external stakeholders.

Job Requirements

  • 10+ years of strategic sourcing and supplier relations experience and 5+ years leading strategic operations teams in a similar role for a $2B+ company.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering and/or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
  • Existing working relationships and history with semiconductor industry suppliers and the ability to establish relationships are essential.
  • Experience managing & influencing strategic supplier ecosystems, including the ability to establish early visibility of the new product requirements and planning for their impact on the supply chain.
  • Demonstrated track record of year-over-year value creation, include cost reduction, total cost of ownership (TCO) improvement, supply assurance and service level improvement.
  • Experience in partnering with and influencing senior internal stakeholders & recognized for strong stakeholder management, alignment & decision support.
  • Excellent executive communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation skills; comfortable and credible with both internal stakeholders and external audiences.
  • Deep expertise in commercial negotiations and contract management, including contract development, negotiation strategy, risk allocation & compliance with legal & regulatory requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of supply riskmanagement, including continuity planning, sustainability improvement, capacity risk mitigation and response to market volatility.
  • Strong leadership abilities toward the development of a solid team.
  • Set targets and deliver business results including productivity, working capital improvement, supplier performance (quality and delivery).
  • Experience leading strategic sourcing and procurement operations, in a high-volume semiconductor or advanced manufacturing environment.
