The Director is responsible for overseeing the overall strategic direction, operations, and financial performance of the company. The role includes leading the wholesale distribution of photographic equipment and supplies, as well as audio and videoe quipment, ensuring sustainable growth, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1.Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement the company's business strategies and long-term plans.
- Identify market opportunities within the photographic, audio, and video equipment wholesale industry.
- Drive business expansion, partnerships, and revenue growth.
2.Business Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day operations of wholesale distribution activities.
- Ensure efficient supply chain, inventory management, and logistics processes.
- Monitor product sourcing, pricing strategies, and supplier relationships.
3.Financial Oversight
- Review and approve budgets, financial forecasts, and reports.
- Ensure proper financial controls and cost management.
- Monitor profitability and ensure alignment with business objectives.
4.Sales & Business Development
- Lead sales strategy and performance for photographic and AV equipment.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, distributors, and suppliers.
- Explore new markets and channels to increase market share.
5.Team Leadership
- Provide leadership and guidance to management and staff.
- Set performance targets and ensure accountability across departments.
- Foster a high-performance and collaborative work environment.
6.Risk Management
- Identify potential business risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure business continuity planning and operational resilience.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior management or above role.
- Strong knowledge of wholesale distribution, preferably in electronics accessories.
- Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Strong financial and business acumen.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is a plus, as the role requires communication with China-based suppliers and vendors.
