About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished Director of Process Integration provides strategic and technical leadership for new product introduction (NPI), technology transfers, and yield optimization initiatives. This role is accountable for driving manufacturing excellence, ensuring process robustness, and aligning cross-functional teams to achieve business, quality, and customer objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Lead and oversee end-to-end new product qualification and technology transfers from mother fab to volume manufacturing.
  • Define and execute process integration roadmap aligned with corporate technology strategy and business goals.
  • Establish long-term yield improvement strategies and process capability enhancement plans.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen process stability, scalability, and reliability.

Technical & Operational Excellence

  • Provide executive oversight on complex data analytics to identify systemic process design weaknesses and manufacturing tool performance gaps.
  • Champion advanced DOE methodologies and data-driven decision-making frameworks.
  • Oversee silicon process flow optimization, design rule changes, and layout integration impacts with full reliability consideration (short- and long-term).
  • Ensure world-class yield performance, electrical test robustness, and product reliability across technology nodes.
  • Lead resolution of critical yield excursions, high-impact manufacturing issues, and customer escalations.

Cross-Functional & Global Collaboration

  • Partner with Technology Development, Manufacturing, Yield Engineering, Quality, and Customer Engineering teams to ensure seamless product ramp.
  • Serve as the key executive interface with mother fab during technology transfers.
  • Strengthen collaboration across geographically dispersed teams and foster alignment on KPIs and deliverables.
  • Build strong customer confidence through technical credibility and operational excellence.

Organizational & Talent Leadership

  • Build, mentor, and develop high-performing process integration teams.
  • Establish succession planning, capability development frameworks, and technical leadership pipelines.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, resilience, and continuous learning.
  • Drive performance management and operational discipline across the department.

Qualifications & Core Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related STEM field (Master's or PhD preferred).
  • 1215+ years of semiconductor industry experience with:
  • Extensive background in silicon process integration
  • Successful leadership of technology transfers and NPI programs
  • Proven track record in yield ramp and manufacturing scale-up
  • Strong exposure to reliability engineering and electrical test optimization
  • Prior experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Influential communicator with executive presence.
  • Decisive leader capable of operating under ambiguity and high-pressure environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management across global and cross-functional teams.
