Job Description

Position Purpose

The Director, Sales Finance Hub APAC, is responsible for establishing and leading the centralized Asia-Pacific Sales Finance Hub for the High Voltage Division.

The position plays a key role in the transformation from 7 local country P&Ls to one integrated P&L in Singapore, consolidating all sales-related finance and commercial back-office activities into a single, efficient organization.

The role ensures financial transparency, consistent governance, and improved forecast accuracy across the Asia-Pacific sales organization. Additionally, the Director drives process efficiency, data quality, and synergies between Sales Finance, factories, and global operations, supporting the division's commercial excellence strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hub Establishment & Transformation: Lead the transition from 7 local country finance structures into a single Asia-Pacific Sales Finance Hub, ensuring standardized processes, governance, and financial transparency.
  • Strategy & Implementation Controlling: Provide financial steering and performance management for sales execution and implementation of commercial initiatives.
  • Sales Finance Operations: Oversee all back-end finance activities including contract preparation, credit and liquidity checks, legal evaluations, and margin analysis.
  • Costing, Margins & Pricing: Ensure accurate costing, margin transparency, and price approval governance in close alignment with divisional management and factory finance.
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Manage reporting, forecasting, and budgeting for the consolidated sales cluster P&L, improving forecast accuracy and pipeline visibility.
  • Business Insights & Analytics: Drive data-driven decision-making through improved pipeline transparency, One SAM integration, and analysis of offers, orders, and revenue trends.
  • Order Management & Subcontracting: Coordinate subcontracting and order management with the global factory network ensure efficient customer handover, OI and revenue booking, and synergy realization.
  • Governance & Integrity: Safeguard compliance with corporate financial policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.
  • People Leadership: Lead and develop a team of 10 finance and commercial professionals, fostering collaboration, process discipline, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Partner closely with regional sales, factory finance, and divisional controlling to ensure consistent commercial steering and profitability management across Asia-Pacific.

Organizational Relationships

  • Reports to: Senior Director CRM Finance, High Voltage Division
  • Key interfaces: Regional and Country Sales Leadership Factory Finance and Order Management organizations Divisional Controlling and FP&A teams Corporate Credit, Legal, and Treasury functions Regional HR and Operations management

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • University degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field MBA preferred
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in commercial finance or sales finance roles within an industrial or project-driven environment
  • Proven experience leading finance transformation or shared-service initiatives across multiple countries
  • Strong understanding of sales finance processes including costing, pricing, contract management, and order-to-cash cycles
  • Experience in performance management, forecasting, and reporting of large regional P&Ls
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and change management skills
  • Strong analytical mindset, digital fluency (e.g., ERP/CRM systems, One SAM), and intercultural communication abilities
  • Fluent in English additional Asia-Pacific languages beneficial
