Job Description

As an Account Sourcing Director at JLL, you will serve as a strategic architect of vendor partnerships, driving excellence in supplier management and enabling seamless delivery of all services across the region.

This role sits at the intersection of strategic relationship management and operational execution, where you'll cultivate long-term vendor partnerships that deliver measurable value while building a robust supplier ecosystem to support critical facility improvements and maintenance projects. You'll be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies that balance quality, cost efficiency, and service delivery, while ensuring alignment with client objectives and JLL's commitment to operational excellence.

At JLL, we are collectively shaping a brighter way for our clients, ourselves and our fellow employees, and in this role, you'll do that by transforming how we engage with our vendor community. Your work will directly impact project outcomes, cost optimization, and client satisfaction as you lead negotiations, assess vendor performance, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. This position requires a strategic mindset combined with hands-on execution capabilities, as you'll work collaboratively with stakeholders across procurement, operations, project management, and client account teams to deliver integrated sourcing solutions that meet evolving business needs.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive vendor management strategies that optimise supplier performance, ensure service level compliance, and drive continuous improvement across the vendor partner portfolio

  • Support strategic sourcing initiatives for Minor Works projects, identifying and evaluating potential vendors, conducting competitive bid processes, and negotiating contracts that deliver optimal value

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendor partners, conducting regular business reviews, addressing performance issues proactively, and fostering collaborative partnerships that drive mutual success

  • Collaborate with regional operations teams to understand sourcing requirements, anticipate demand fluctuations, and ensure vendor capacity aligns with project pipelines and client commitments

  • Establish and monitor vendor performance metrics and KPIs, creating dashboards and reporting mechanisms that provide visibility into supplier performance, risk exposure, and improvement opportunities

  • Conduct market research and benchmarking analysis to stay informed of industry trends, emerging technologies, pricing dynamics, and competitive positioning within the vendor landscape

  • Manage vendor onboarding processes, ensuring compliance with JLL standards, client requirements, insurance provisions, and regulatory obligations while streamlining integration timelines

  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks by developing contingency plans, maintaining diverse supplier networks, and implementing proactive monitoring systems that ensure business continuity

  • Partner with finance, legal, and compliance teams to structure vendor agreements, resolve contract disputes, manage payment terms, and ensure adherence to corporate governance standards

  • Single point of contact for the client procurement team and all related functions

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field

  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, vendor management, or procurement, preferably within facilities management, construction, or commercial real estate sectors

  • Demonstrated success in managing complex vendor relationships, leading sourcing negotiations, and delivering measurable cost savings and performance improvements

  • Strong understanding of Minor Works, facility maintenance, or construction project delivery, including knowledge of trade categories, industry standards, and typical service delivery models

  • Proven ability to develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with business objectives while balancing quality, cost, and service delivery requirements

  • Excellent negotiation and contract management skills, with experience structuring agreements, managing terms and conditions, and resolving vendor disputes effectively

  • Advanced analytical capabilities with proficiency in data analysis, spend analytics, market research, and performance measurement tools and methodologies

  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and build consensus across diverse groups

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline

  • Professional certifications such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management), CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply), or equivalent credentials

  • Experience working within the commercial real estate or corporate facilities management industry, with specific knowledge of JLL service offerings and client delivery models

  • Demonstrated success implementing supplier diversity programs or sustainability initiatives within vendor management frameworks

  • Proficiency with procurement technology platforms, contract management systems, e-sourcing tools, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems

  • Experience managing vendor relationships across multiple geographic regions with understanding of regional market dynamics and cultural considerations

  • Track record of driving process improvements and operational efficiencies through vendor consolidation, category management, or strategic sourcing transformations
