Role Summary
Lead regional quality strategy across Asia manufacturing sites to drive zero-defect performance, customer satisfaction, and high-reliability outcomes in the semiconductor industry.
Based in Singapore, this role partners closely with global Quality, Manufacturing, Product, Sales, and Supply Chain teams.
Leadership Expectations

- Data-driven decision making using statistical analysis, risk assessment, and structured problem-solving
- Strong accountability across multi-site and cross-functional teams
- Effective collaboration with Asia plants and North America stakeholders
- Drive innovation through standardized quality systems and continuous improvement
- Build and develop high-performing regional Quality Engineering teams
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute Asia regional quality strategy aligned with global objectives
- Lead Quality Management Systems (QMS), audits, CAPA closure, qualification, and change management activities
- Act as primary quality interface for strategic customers and critical escalations
- Drive corrective/preventive actions using Six Sigma, 8D, RCA, FMEA, SPC, DOE, and statistical analysis
- Champion Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Lead and mentor multi-site Quality Engineering teams across Asia
Required Experience & Skills
- Master degree in Engineering, Physics, or Materials Science
- Based in Singapore with frequent Asia travel required
- 12-15+ years in semiconductor quality, including 10+ years in senior leadership
- Strong expertise in semiconductor manufacturing:Front-end wafer fabrication and/or Back-end assembly, packaging, and test
- Deep knowledge of:8D, RCA, CAPA/SCARFMEA, SPC/SQC, DOE Six Sigma and statistical analysis
- Proven experience managing customer-facing quality issues, containment, and root cause resolution
- Strong cross-cultural leadership across Asia regions (Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, China, Korea, Japan)
