Job Summary

As Managing Director, you will lead strategic planning, operational management, and stakeholder engagement to drive growth, innovation, and organizational excellence aligned with the company's mission and vision.

Responsibilities

  • Set strategic goals and priorities aligned with the organization's mission and vision to guide overall direction
  • Develop and execute business strategies and initiatives to increase growth, profitability, and market competitiveness
  • Lead senior management and department heads by providing clear guidance, support, and accountability to meet objectives
  • Oversee daily operations across finance, HR, marketing, sales, and other functions to ensure efficiency, compliance, and effectiveness
  • Monitor organizational performance and financial metrics, analyze risks and opportunities, and implement corrective actions
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement by encouraging creativity and initiative throughout the organization
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with investors, board members, partners, customers, employees, and community stakeholders
  • Drive business development by identifying and pursuing new markets, partnerships, and revenue streams
  • Lead change management initiatives to adapt to market shifts, technological advances, and competitive pressures
  • Manage financial resources, budgets, and investments to optimize allocation and maximize shareholder value
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards to uphold integrity and transparency
  • Lead crisis management and risk mitigation to protect reputation, financial stability, and operational continuity
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion by promoting fairness, respect, and equal opportunity for all employees
  • Communicate organizational updates, progress, and strategic insights effectively to internal and external audiences
  • Serve as the organization's primary spokesperson at public forums, media, and industry events

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, building and construction, or related field
  • Master's degree or MBA preferred
