About the Company

The Director, Program Management is responsible for driving revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and programme execution across key accounts. The incumbent will lead the Program Management team in delivering exceptional customer service, managing strategic customer relationships, ensuring operational excellence, and achieving business objectives. The role serves as the primary interface between customers and internal cross-functional teams to ensure successful business execution and long-term customer partnerships.

Responsibilities

Business Growth & Customer Management

  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve revenue growth, profitability, and customer retention objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs, market trends, and future requirements.
  • Lead regular business reviews with customers to drive customer satisfaction and identify growth opportunities.
  • Drive customer escalation management and ensure timely resolution of issues.

Program Management Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Program Managers, Senior Program Engineers, and Program Engineers.
  • Establish and improve processes, procedures, and best practices to support the Program Management function.
  • Oversee programme execution to ensure delivery commitments, quality requirements, and financial targets are achieved.
  • Monitor team performance through KPIs and establish continuous improvement initiatives.

Commercial & Operational Management

  • Review, approve, and negotiate RFQs, quotations, commercial terms, and business proposals for existing and prospective customers.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Finance teams to meet customer requirements.
  • Drive effective management of product transfers, NPI activities, demand planning, inventory management, and customer programmes.
  • Manage exposure claims, material obsolescence claims, and commercial recovery activities.

Customer Satisfaction & Service Excellence

  • Lead customer satisfaction initiatives and periodic customer surveys.
  • Ensure high standards of customer service and responsiveness across all customer touchpoints.
  • Drive corrective actions and improvement plans arising from customer feedback and performance metrics.

Business Performance

  • Ensure efficient department operations and resource planning.
  • Manage departmental budget, revenue performance, margin improvement, and operational targets.
  • Prepare and present business reports, forecasts, and performance reviews to senior management.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in EMS, semiconductor, electronics manufacturing, or related industries, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Required Skills

  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing customer-facing teams.
  • Strong understanding of programme management, customer relationship management, manufacturing operations, and commercial negotiations.
  • Experience managing strategic customer accounts and complex business programmes.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.
