Job Description

NTU is seeking an experienced and visionary leader to head its Office of Commercial and Auxiliary Services (OCAS).

This senior leadership role is responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight in the policies and operations relating to hospitality, commercial leasing, real estate management, and auxiliary services. In addition, the Director plays an active role and collaborates with stakeholders to cultivate a vibrant campus culture, involve both students and employees, and foster a strong sense of community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership for NTU's hospitality, commercial leasing, real estate, and auxiliary services functions.

  • Drive the transformation of NTU into a vibrant, welcoming, and sustainable environment for students, staff, and the wider community.

  • Lead initiatives to enhance campus life, including F&B offerings, hospitality services, amenities, and community-facing activities.

  • Oversee the University's hospitality assets and ensure high standards of quality, service excellence, and financial sustainability.

  • Provide strategic oversight of key auxiliary services such as campus transportation and car park operations, working closely with outsourced service providers.

  • Lead the planning, development, and refurbishment of major campus hospitality and lifestyle assets.

  • Develop and manage business strategies to optimise the use of leased assets and maximise revenue from commercial activities.

  • Build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver innovative and value-driven solutions.

  • Identify and manage strategic, financial, and operational risks across all areas under OCAS's purview.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline a Master's degree is an advantage.

  • A minimum of 18 years of demonstrated experience in commercial leasing, hospitality, events management, community engagement, or university student life, along with a successful history in developing and implementing strategic initiatives and managing large-scale projects.

  • Proven track record in leading transformation and implementing change management.

  • Strong strategic and commercial acumen, with experience in business planning, stakeholder management, and change leadership.

  • Ability to operate effectively in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.

  • Passion for enhancing campus life and community engagement, with an inclusive and collaborative leadership style.
