Managing third-party logistics providers, transportation, and warehouse operations while focusing on cost management and revenue growth.
Develop and implement strategic goals for the supply chain team.
Oversee and optimize operational systems, processes, and best practices.
Manage all aspects of warehousing, transportation, and logistics.
Manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and other partners.
Read and manage P&L statements to drive both cost management and revenue streams.
Work closely with various departments to ensure overall business excellence.
Requirements:
A degree or master's in a relevant field like logistics or supply chain management.
Extensive experience in supply chain functions, often with at least 10 years in the field and 5 in a managerial capacity.
Strong understanding of supply chain operations, including warehouse management, key performance indicators (KPIs), and cost structures.
Experience in managing third-party logistics providers and handling transportation sourcing and contracting.
Familiarity with relevant management systems, such as Warehouse and Transportation Management Systems (like SAP).
