Role Description

Sales Leadership

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue, market share, and occupancy targets.
  • Lead and motivate the sales team through mentorship, guidance, and clear performance objectives.
  • Foster a high-performance culture built on excellence, teamwork, and accountability.

Market Analysis & Strategy

  • Conduct detailed market analysis to identify trends, competitive positioning, and growth opportunities.
  • Partner with the marketing team to align sales initiatives with brand and marketing strategies.

Distribution Optimization

  • Oversee all distribution channels including OTAs, GDS, direct sales, and strategic partnerships.
  • Monitor channel performance, optimize pricing strategies, and negotiate contracts to maximize revenue and profitability.

Relationship Building

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with corporate clients, TMCs, DMCs, leisure wholesalers, travel agencies, tour operators, OTAs, PCOs, wedding and event planners, and national tourism bodies.
  • Represent the hotel at industry events, conferences, and networking platforms to strengthen market presence.

Revenue Management

  • Collaborate with the revenue management team to develop competitive pricing, packages, and promotions.
  • Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies to stay ahead in the market.

Team Management

  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team, promoting continuous learning and growth.
  • Set clear KPIs, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare and present sales reports, performance metrics, and revenue forecasts to senior management.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to inform decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of hotel sales and distribution leadership experience with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in CRM and sales management software.
  • Deep understanding of the Singapore hotel market and industry trends.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client and partner relationships.
  • Willingness to travel and attend industry events as required.
