Director of Product Design

Client

Our client is a leading global digital asset exchange headquartered in Asia. They are trusted by tens of millions of investors and traders worldwide. They are now looking for a Head of Product Design to lead the Web3 team.

Scope

As Head of Product Design, you will lead multiple design teams working on various platforms such as the CEX, DEX, browser wallet extensions and API's. You will help guide your teams to develop intuitive human-centred product flows and drive excellence across all devices from mobile, tablet and desktop. There will be plenty of cross-functional collaboration for you to navigate with teams in product management, engineering, marketing and R&D to deliver high quality customer experiences. Together with the leadership team you will act as a strategic advisor to senior executives shaping business direction and insights.

Successful Applicants

• Minimum 10 years of design experience and 5 years in a senior management or organisational leadership role
• Proven track record in scaling, leading, and managing global design teams, including managers, senior leaders & individual contributors.
• Deep expertise in product design, design systems, and branding, with the ability to set a high bar for quality and efficiency.
• Extensive experience managing cross-regional, cross-functional stakeholders, and cross-cultural teams, with strong cultural sensitivity and adaptability.
• Excellent leadership, organisational, and team-building skills able to drive vision while empowering teams.
• Web3 native deep understanding of the domains & crypto-native user behaviours, DeFi mechanics, and wallet ecosystems.
• Bilingual communication abilities is highly desirable (English, Mandarin) essential for interfacing with global teams, Product Management leaders, and Design across HQ and international markets.
