The Director of Marketing Communications is responsible for defining, executing, and governing the organization's integrated marketing communications strategy. This role ensures consistent brand positioning, messaging, and storytelling across all channels while driving awareness, engagement, and revenue growth. The position requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration.
Strategic Leadership
Develop and own the company's global/regional marketing communications strategy aligned with business objectives.
Establish brand voice, tone, messaging frameworks, and visual standards across all platforms.
Translate corporate strategy into compelling narratives for customers, partners, investors, and internal stakeholders.
Brand & Reputation Management
Safeguard brand consistency across digital, print, PR, advertising, events, and internal communications.
Oversee brand campaigns, product launches, and corporate initiatives.
Manage reputation, crisis communications, and executive messaging when required.
Content & Channel Management
Lead content strategy across owned, earned, and paid media.
Oversee development of marketing materials including websites, social media, advertising, PR content, presentations, videos, and sales collateral.
Ensure content is customer-centric, data-driven, and performance-oriented.
Public Relations & Media
Lead PR strategy, media relations, press releases, and thought leadership initiatives.
Build and manage relationships with media, agencies, influencers, and industry partners.
Oversee events, trade shows, sponsorships, and public-facing brand activities.
Digital & Performance Alignment
Collaborate closely with digital marketing, growth, and sales teams to ensure message alignment across performance channels.
Use analytics and insights to optimize communication effectiveness and ROI.
Ensure integrated messaging across paid ads, CRM, social, and e-commerce platforms.
Team & Budget Management
Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing marketing communications team.
Manage external agencies, freelancers, and vendors.
Own and optimize the marketing communications budget.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).
8-12+ years of progressive experience in marketing communications, brand, or corporate communications.
Proven leadership experience managing teams and agencies.
Strong understanding of brand strategy, PR, digital marketing, and content ecosystems.
Experience in fast-growth, multinational, or consumer-focused industries preferred.
